From Dr Molony & Partners At Sturry Surgery And Canterbury Health Centre
19 April 2022
We would like to take this opportunity to update all of our patients on some important staffing changes amongst our team. As lots of you know will know, Dr Jane Lilley has been a Partner at the Practice for 30 years, and it is with sadness that we must announce that she will be retiring at the end of June. We shall miss her but hope that retirement will bring her every happiness!
However, as Dr Lilley is retiring, Dr Edward Molony has joined the Practice as a Partner. He is the 3rd generation of the Molony Family to be a Partner in the Practice, continuing the ethos of a family Practice with strong community links. Some of you may have already had the pleasure of meeting him but we are confident he will help fill a very large hole left by Dr Lilley.
In addition to this, our Lead Nurse, Wendy Holmes, will also be leaving the practice on the 13th April. We would like to thank her very much for her hard work over the last 17 years and wish her the very best for the future.
We are delighted to announce that Karen Rahman, one of our current Practice Nurses, will be taking on the role of Lead Nurse when Wendy leaves. We assure you that during this time of change we have put in place every precaution to ensure it does not impact on the day to day running of the surgery. We would also like to take this opportunity to embrace the changes we have seen recently with all patients now being able to book across the both of our sites. We feel this has improved access and continuity of care to patients. We very much welcome your feedback on this change.
Sending best wishes to all of our patients, Sturry Surgery Senior Management Team
