Bad water quality at Stodmarsh Nature Reserve stalls housing developments across Canterbury, Ashford and other areas

Kent Online reported that the effects on local development are degrading the water quality at Stodmarsh Nature reserves with a detrimental effect on the wildlife at this important conservation area. As a result, Canterbury City Council have put things on hold while ways are worked out to mitigate the effects.

However, they are still proceeding with the Sturry/Broad Oak plans. We need to keep a very close eye on developments and will publish any relevant news here and on our Facebook page.
